Course Description
This intermediate level course is intended for Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists. In this course, participants will learn practical steps to utilizing Neuromuscular Electric Stimulation (NMES) as a methodology targeting oropharyngeal dysphagia. The instructor will present two separate pediatric case studies in which Vital Stim was utilized to maximize patient outcomes.

Adrienne earned her Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Speech Pathology from Northern Arizona University. Adrienne is licensed to practice in the state of Nevada and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
Adrienne has a passion for working with clients of all ages. As a leader in the area of pediatric and adult feeding and swallowing, she provides extensive training to therapists, clients, and families. Adrienne has extensive experience in evaluating and treating all areas of speech and language therapy.
Adrienne holds a specialty certificate in Adult and Pediatric VitalStim, McNeil Dysphagia Therapy Protocol and the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding (SOS).
